Manuela

I am a graduate student who majored in Media and Film Studies. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Media Studies at Queens College. As an immigrant to the United States, I had to overcome barriers of language and culture. It was with the help of tutors at the writing center that I was challenged to confront this fear as I was taught to learn, improve, and serve.

Therefore, I would encourage every one of you to just make an appointment today. I promise you: it is more what you can win than what you can lose! As the Senior Editor at the Knight News, it is a joy to teach you strategies to edit. However, I would prefer to teach you how to structure your writing and let your knowledge and creativity do the rest. I want to meet oyu at whatever stage you are in: let’s make this together!
