About the Program
Exclusive to Queens College, the Honors Minor in Business and Liberal Arts (BALA), offers a multidisciplinary approach that combines the study of arts and sciences with basic business principles.

The Honors BALA Minor program facilitates entry into the professional world through career readiness. Classroom experience is strongly supplemented with opportunities to obtain international and local internships in a wide variety of fields. BALA students also connect with business leaders in a chosen field who may become mentors — providing support, advice, feedback on career decisions, and networking opportunities. The Honors BALA Minor requires maintenance of a 3.0 overall GPA, and a 3.0 GPA in the required BALA courses.
