ABOUT GERRY

Gerry is a Career Coach at the City University of New York School of Business. She has over 25 years experience in the Financial Services Industry as well as 10 years experience working for Technology Consulting and Advisory organizations. Here areas of expertise include Designing Workforce Ready Workshops that help students craft and deliver their professional stories. She has a created and taught her unique interview framework that empowers students land high paying  internships and jobs in Financial Services and High Tech Industries.

Gerry teaches several Career Ready Workshops and provides 1:1 Coaching on Career Guidance and works with students on creating start ups. She also holds a MA from NYIT and a BA from Queens College.

ABOUT LIZ

Liz O’Connell is an Associate Director for the Center for Career Engagements and Internships at The City University of New York. Liz has over 20 years of experience coaching students to achieve personal and professional goals and teaches them how to be successful in the interview and job search process. Liz also facilities career development programming and outreach to student organizations, campus partners and faculty to promote career initiatives.

Liz’ specialties include career coaching, resume review, job search, interview prep, organizing career fairs with prospective employers. She also holds a Msed from Hunter College.
