Assistant Professor Suleyman Taspinar has a Ph.D. in economics from the Graduate Center, and BA from Bilkent University – widely seen as the best university in Turkey. His research focuses on estimation and inference problems in econometric models with cross-sectional and time dependent observations. He has published in leading econometrics and statistics journals. Since his arrival at Queens College, he has received some of the highest ratings in the department. He teaches in the B.A. program in economics, the B.S. program in Quantitative Economics and the M.S. program in Risk Management.
