New York City Primary Election

New York City Primary Election on Tuesday, June 22
From President Frank H. Wu:
On Tuesday, June 22, New York City will hold a primary election for local offices including Mayor, Public Advocate, Comptroller, Borough President, City Council, and Manhattan District Attorney. Ranked-choice voting will be used in this election. As our city strives to recover from the ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is incumbent upon each one of us to make sure our voice is heard. By exercising our right to vote, we will help ensure the continuation of our democracy and the well-being of our city. Today, it is easier to vote than ever, with multiple options for how you can cast your vote.
There are two ways you can vote:
– Vote early at your assigned early voting site (ends June 20).
– Vote on election day at your assigned polling site.
The schedule for the three remaining early voting dates is:
– Friday, June 18, 7 am-4 pm
– Saturday, June 19, 8 am-5 pm
– Sunday, June 20, 8 am-4 pm
Visitors to Board of Elections facilities must wear masks/face coverings and maintain six feet of distance.
I am pleased to share that the Student Union at Queens College is once again be utilized by the Board of Elections as a polling site for early voting. Note: Only those who live in the district and receive instructions from the Board of Elections indicating they may vote early at Queens College are eligible to vote at QC.
For details regarding early voting, check the Board of Elections website at https://vote.nyc. You may look up your polling place at https://findmypollsite.vote.nyc.
Again, I urge you not to miss this opportunity. Stay safe and well.
