Media Production Certificate
The certificate in Media Production offers students a series of classes necessary to develop skills required to create a wide range of moving image media, including documentary and fiction filmmaking, online media, and television studio operations. Students will get a grounding in the technical basics of motion picture production including cinematography and post production. These skills can then be applied across media, such as television and online formats. This will enable them to gain internships and entry level positions with the production companies, digital firms, and creative-based organizations in and around New York City. For students wishing to apply to graduate film schools, this sequence of classes will give students the opportunity to prepare a creative portfolio.
