Testing Course and Registration
Graduate Students
- Report to the International Students and Scholars Office, Student Union, Room 327, for the mandatory Orientation Program.
- If necessary, go to Administrative Offices to remove registration stops. See attached handout about Registration Stops.
- Submit proof of health immunization. Take the completed Queens College Health Immunization Form to Health Services, Frese Hall, Room 310.
- Go to your academic department to schedule course registration with a graduate advisor.
- Ask your advisor if you are required to take GESL (Graduate English as a Second Language).
- Register for a minimum 9 credits.
- Pay tuition bill within 48 hours. Go to Bursar’s Office to obtain receipt of payment.
- After registering as a full-time student, report back to ISSO to pick up your I-20. YOU MUST OBTAIN a Queens College I-20 before the first day of class.
- Obtain a Queens College student identification card at the Student Union. Bring your passport and I-20 with you.
- Register for a QC email account. Access www.qc.cuny.edu and click on Email section on right side of QC Home Page.
