Research Interests
My research focuses on the relationship between nutrition, training stress, and recovery and the implications for health and performance. I am specifically interested in the use of nutritional, endocrine, and metabolic biomarkers to track health and performance. Furthermore, I am interested in the potential efficacy of nutritional supplementation as well as acute and chronic training for improving functional capabilities, cognition, and the systemic response to stress in adolescents, athletes, military, first responders, and special populations.
