Guided Student Exhibitions: The Queens College Fashion and Textiles Collection
Students in the Fashion and Design BA present historic fashion exhibitions using the
Queens College Fashion and Textiles Collection as an active part of their studies.
They participate in these fashion shows from start to finish, including researching,
caption writing, dressing mannequins and installation and take down of the exhibitions.
These skills are used in museum and archive jobs and help to propel our students
forward in the field. The Fashion and Design program has staged six guided student
exhibitions since 2014.
