Lighting
The majority of our lighting equipment was purchased between 2006-2013 and consists of a large assortment of conventional lighting fixtures, intelligent fixtures, color changing fixtures, CXI color scrollers, and an assortment of special effects equipment including fog, haze, strobes and black lights. All of our spaces utilize computerized control. The Goldstein Theatre is wired with a closed network which uses EDMX for communication between the ETC Ion console, the 240 permanently installed dimmers, and all other equipment using DMX protocol.
Students in our program have the opportunity to work hands on with all our equipment, learning how to install, configure, and program the equipment for all departmental productions.
