6-Sessions Career Readiness Workshop
In this 6-sessions Career Readiness Workshop, a great team of experts work with students to prepare them for internship and job search, and for career success.
The workshop focuses on mindset, development of skills, designing the future, building resume, networking, interviews, and creation of videos for job interviews.
The goals are:
- Create a positive mindset.
- Design your future.
- Understand the key areas of businesses and industries.
- Finding what the required skills are for a specific job and realizing the importance of communication and critical thinking.
- Understand the process of networking.
- Increase confidence.
- Develop interview skills.
The team is composed of Gerry Marotta, a Queens College Alum who has had a rewarding career on Wall Street and in IT strategy, Liz O’Connell Associate Director of Career Education from the Center for Career Engagement and Internship, Don Chadwick, recruiter, Lisa D’Angelo, BALA, and Luc Marest, Lecturer at the Economics Department and Campus Director of QC Blackstone LaunchPad.
The team works closely with each student, providing personalized coaching.

Every Tuesday from February 13 to March 19.
From 6:30pm to 8:00pm
