Asian/ American Center Program Assistant (PAID)
The Asian/American Center of Queens College is looking for a graduate student or a student who is to start his/her graduate work for Program Assistant. This position is to assist with the paper work and operation of our Translation Program as well as Student Scholarship/Leadership Programs. The responsibilities will also include basic office work such as answering phone calls, drafting event flyers, and communicating with faculty, staff and students at Queens College.
A reliable & motivated graduate/graduate-to-be student with sufficient computer, organizational & writing skills is preferred. This position offers excellent medical benefits.
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: Mon-Thrus @9AM-3PM
Pay: $13.50 to $15.50 /hour based on applicate’s qualifications.

OCA-NY 2019 Paid Summer Internship
OCA-NY is looking for a college student or recent college graduate for a full-time summer internship position to coordinate OCA-NY’s 13th Annual Hate Crimes Prevention Art Project. This Project involves coordinating and training of diverse high school teenagers from select youth organizations on hate crimes and using art as a tool to prevent hate crimes.
Dates of Internship: May 21 – August 15, 2019
Stipend: $2,750 (includes local travel expenses)

MinKwon Center's Young Adult Leadership Through Empowerment & Development (LEAD)
The MinKwon Center is starting up Young Adult LEAD, a group for working class, Asian American young adults (18-35) to meet up weekly, learn and talk about political issues that impact our communities, participate in outreach, and work together to organize a campaign to ensure our communities are safer and to create progressive spaces in our communities.
