• ACE QC: ACE QC is a comprehensive support program designed to build on transfer students’ academic momentum and help students complete their bachelor’s degree on time. Modeled after CUNY’s Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP), ACE QC provides a range of financial, academic, and personal support, including intensive academic advisement, career development, assistance with textbook and transportation, and more.
  • STEM Academy: Queens STEM Academy (Q-STEM) is a brand-new program at LaGuardia Community College that supports students who want to complete a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field. Q-STEM offers students an opportunity for a more comprehensive path to the bachelor’s degree in a variety of STEM majors. LaGuardia has established articulation agreements with Queens College that allow students to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree by starting at LaGuardia to complete an Associate’s degree before transferring to a STEM major at Queens College.
  • CUNY Transfer Explorer: CUNY Transfer Explorer makes important information about college transfer public and easy to understand so that students know what to expect before they enroll in a new college. In particular, Transfer Explorer focuses on how previously earned college credits are treated and count towards degree requirements when students transfer between CUNY colleges. CUNY Transfer Explorer builds on the pioneering work of Queens College professor emeritus Christopher Vickery.
  • Transfer Honors: the Transfer Honors Program (THP) has been devoted to cultivating the scholarly potential of talented transfer students. The program recognizes that transfer students contribute to the Queens College community by bringing not only the academic rigor of their work at their first colleges but also a wealth of life-experience that is distinct from that of traditional four-year college students.
  • International Students: The International Students and Scholars Office assists students and faculty in obtaining and maintaining the F-1 International Student and J-1 Exchange Visitor, U.S. Visa-Immigration Status for the purpose of studying, teaching, and/or conducting research at the college/university on a short-term basis.
