Step 1: Review the RA Job Description & Requirements
Before applying, review the RA Job Description & Requirements to understand the expectations and responsibilities of the role.
Step 2: Complete the RA Application
Application Opens: February 10, 2025
Application Deadline: February 26, 2025

Fill out the online application, which includes short-answer questions about your experiences, leadership skills, and interest in the position.
Step 3: Submit a Letter of Recommendation
A faculty member, mentor, or professional who can speak to your leadership abilities and character is required to submit one letter of recommendation on your behalf.

- Submission Options for Recommenders:
- Deliver in a sealed envelope to the Summit Office labeled: Candidate Last Name, First Name – RA Recommendation
- OR email a scanned copy to housing@qc.cuny.edu
Step 4: Attend an RA Info Session (Optional but Encouraged!)
Learn more about the role and ask questions before applying. February 5th and 6th, 2025 at 6:00 pm, MCR.
Step 5: Participate in Individual Interviews
Selected applicants will be invited to participate in:
Individual Interview – Meet with Residence Life staff to discuss your qualifications.
Step 6: Selection & Notification
Final decisions will be made in March 2025. All applicants will be notified of their status via email.

Step 1: Review Application Materials
Before applying, review the sample application, job description/requirements, and recommendation form for your recommender. You will need to provide them with the recommendation form.
Step 2: Complete the Application
Open the link below using a private/incognito browser window to avoid login issues.
You will first see Microsoft Sign In Window 1, where you must enter your CUNYFirst login in the format: first.last##@login.cuny.edu
After entering your credentials, you will be taken to CUNY Login Window 2, the familiar CUNY login page (use the same credentials as above).
Once logged in, you should be able to access this year’s application materials.
