Inspired by “the maker movement,” our makerspace provides a place to learn new skills as well as a forum for sharing and exchanging ideas with others.
New Users
New users must request Orientation to use the Makerspace.
Orientations are available up to two weeks in advance and must be booked 24 hours prior to start time.
Class Visit Request
QC Faculty can request a class Orientation, Instruction, or brief “Tour” of the QC Makerspace
Your CUNYfirst login is required to fill out the form. Makerspace staff will review your request. Pending availability we will propose a start time during the date/s of your request.
How It Works:
① Request Orientation
Attend a “Safety Guide” Orientation session which grants you access to the makerspace.
② Work in the Makerspace
Spend time in the makerspace exploring our resources and equipment.
If you require additional guidance please schedule a consultation with staff.
③ “Make” New Things
Learn new skills and meet your peers along the way!
