The program trains future school psychologists to use a social justice lens to advocate for the educational rights of students and families who experience the most marginalization in schools and society. The program offers both a Multicultural Specialization and a Bilingual Specialization; the latter leads to a New York State Bilingual Extension.

The Queens College School Psychology Program will be hosting virtual information sessions in November 2023. Please join us to explore the Queens College School Psychology Program. Department of Psychology Virtual Information Session

Please join us virtually for a Graduate Information Session to explore the Master’s of Psychology programs available at Queens College.

Queens College offers a Master of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Arts (MA) in Behavioral Neuroscience, and a Master of Arts (MA) in Applied Behavior Analysis.

The Master of Arts in Psychology program is structured in a liberal arts tradition providing students with broad training in many areas of psychology. Students explore their interests with our faculty who specialize in neuropsychology, clinical psychology, applied behavior analysis and experimental psychology.

The Master of Arts in Behavioral Neuroscience will train promising graduate students to engage in intensive, research-based study within the quickly expanding field of Behavioral Neuroscience. The program is designed to enhance students’ chances of being admitted into highly-competitive doctoral programs in Neuroscience-related fields, and to increase chances of employment within the private sector as research assistants/associates trained in neuroscience.

The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program prepares clinicians to work with individuals with a DSM diagnosis for whom behavior analysis services have been prescribed. Our program offers a master’s degree or a post-master’s certificate, both of which are New York State licensure qualifying programs and pre-approved by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. We have an on-campus center and partner with multiple organizations and private schools to provide our students quality fellowship experience while enrolled. Most courses are offered online in the late afternoon or early evening.
