WHAT:  The seventh annual City University of New York (CUNY) Pridefest at Queens College, a free and open to the public Pride Month celebration of diversity and inclusion for students, faculty, and staff from all 25 CUNY schools. Among the offerings will be musical, dance, DJ, and drag performances; button making, painting and craft activities; a piñata competition; a Pride in the Sky activity; lawn games; giveaways; an expo area; a photo booth; a lemonade stand, and more. HIV and STI testing will be available. A special fundraiser will benefit the AIDS Center of Queens County.

Free Pridefest t-shirts and commemorative flags will be available for the first 500 attendees.

Registration is required to access the festival space. Members of the public should register HERE.

Pridefest 2024 is made possible through the support of the CUNY LGBTQIA+ Consortium in partnership with the New York City Council; Queens College; LaGuardia Community College; CUNY; and Vishnick McGovern Milizio, Attorneys at Law.

Cosponsors include the Offices of the Queens College President, Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, Women and Gender Studies Program, Queens College Health Services, and the Queens College Office of Student Development and Leadership, the CUNY Office of Student Inclusion Initiatives, the Coalition for Students with Disabilities (CCSD), York College, and the LaGuardia and Wagner Archives at LaGuardia Community College.
