The College Credit Program

WHY TAKE A COLLEGE CREDIT COURSE NOW?

• Courses and their required textbooks are FREE.
• The credit is transferable to other CUNY, SUNY, and private colleges.
• You can attend classes on the Queens College campus taught by Queens College faculty.
• Choose from a wide variety of introductory courses and get some college requirements out of the way, or learn about an academic subject completely new to you.

You choose from a list of College Now-dedicated sections of introductory Queens College credit courses. All students in the class are participants in the College Now program.

Students accepted into our program will get an orientation before classes begin. Throughout the semester, you will have access to an experienced mentor–a Queens College student–who provides advice and support when necessary.

College Credit Faculty

Courses in the college credit component are taught by Queens College faculty. These professors teach the College Now sections in the same way, use the same material, and have the same expectations of their students as in the regular Queens College sections of their courses. College credit earned in these courses is transferable to CUNY, SUNY, or private colleges.
