Brightspace Links for Faculty

The following links will be helpful as we get started in Brightspace here at Queens College for the Fall 2024 term.

*Virtual Classroom should be held using Zoom.

*Manual enrollments (adding in users as Learners, Designers, Graders, and Observers) should be done by sending a request to ITS: Request to Add User to a Brightspace Course

  • Adding in TAs and Instructors will be completed by your department’s administrative assistant/chair. They will add in users via CourseDog, once completed, the changes will reflect in Brightspace the next business day. The registrar will be able to assist with any issues with CourseDog enrollments.

*Course/Section merges can only be done by LMS Administrators and requested by the following form: Request Section/Course Merge in Brightspace

* In order for courses to be seen by your students, please make sure that you have made your course active/available. You can see instructions on how to do so here: How to make your Brightspace Course Available (Active)
