THE OFFICE OF INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT
The Office of Institutional Advancement supports the mission of Queens College by fundraising through the Queens College Foundation, a non-profit organization. The funds raised by the Foundation support student scholarships, fellowships, academic programs, faculty and the college’s greatest needs. In addition, the office manages the college’s Alumni Relations, which encompasses events and communications with our alumni base.

Annual Fund
The Annual Fund program operates to support the general needs of Queens College through various mail, electronic and direct appeals to potential donors from the alumni community and beyond. Program appeals include the Fall and Spring Appeals, Giving Tuesday, the Senior Class Gift Program, and Departmental Newsletter appeals. Funds raised are designated to the College’s greatest needs or in support of specific academic departments or programs.

Planned Giving
As part of the Office of Institutional Advancement, the Planned Giving Officer works with the friends and alumni of Queens College to establish donations through their estate planning, retirement funds, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts, life insurance, donor-advised funds, or other long-term assets. These generous donors are members of the 1937 Society, receive regular communications and are invited to participate in regional, local, and hybrid events to further engage, nurture and grow the community.
