Workshop: Developing Program Learning Outcomes and a Curriculum Map
Wednesday, October 30 from 12:15-1:30pm in Kiely 242
In this workshop, we discuss how to develop program learning outcomes for your majors, tracks, and graduate programs, and how to develop a curriculum map to determine how the courses in your program align to give students the tools to succeed in your program learning outcomes.
Workshop: Developing an Assessment Plan and Re-assessment Plan
Monday, November 4, 2024 from 12:15-1:30pm in Kiely 242
In this workshop, we discuss how to develop an assessment plan, with the goals of making them useful, actionable, manageable, and sustainable. We discuss assessment methods, using assessment results to effect change, and re-assessment plans to ensure progress towards desired outcomes.
Assessment Showcase
Friday, December 6, 2024 from 10am-2pm in the Student Union Ballroom (4th floor)
On Friday, December 6, 2024, Queens College will host its first annual Assessment Showcase. This event is an opportunity for faculty and staff from across Queens College to share ideas and learn about the ways in which we are improving student learning and office efficiencies across campus. We encourage each department to submit at least one presentation or poster to the Showcase. Multiple submissions highlighting different aspects of assessment practice and progress in your department are welcomed. This will be an event full of fun, food, and prizes.
