Important Update From Queens College Center for Career Engagement and Internships
We’re excited to announce that the Queens College Center for Career Engagement and Internships is joining Handshake. Here are some important dates to create a seamless experience for students and employers.
Starting July 1, 2024, HIREQC will no longer be powered by Symplicity for employer job and internship postings.
Instead, you will find us on Handshake starting August 14th!
Students and Alumni: Please download any relevant documents from HireQC powered by Symplicity including resumes, cover letters, and any other important documents before June 28th, 2024. HireQC powered by Symplicity will be inaccessible and no longer available in July.
Employers/Organizations already on Handshake: You will receive an email invitation to connect with QC Center for Career Engagement and Internships from the Handshake platform.
Employer/Organizations not yet on Handshake: You will receive an email invitation directly from Handshake to create an employer account and connect with QC.
Important Dates for Students
- July 1, 2024: We will retire Symplicity while we transition to Handshake
- August 14, 2024: Handshake becomes Queens College career management system. All students will have access to Handshake.
Important Dates for Employers:
- June 24, 2024: Employer job postings will no longer be accepted on HireQC/Symplicity. Employers will have until June 28, 2024 to download and save information.
- July 1, 2024: We will retire Symplicity while we transition to Handshake
- August 1, 2024: Handshake will be launched for all employers
- August 14, 2024: Handshake becomes Queens College career management system. All students will have access to Handshake.
How to Access Handshake
Handshake will be accessible starting August 14th for students to sign in.
Students: Login in with your firstname.lastname##@login.cuny.edu to access your QC Handshake account.
