Summer Session 2026

Queens College is offering three sessions (two 4-week and one 7-week) beginning in June and July, with hundreds of courses offered in in-person, hybrid, and online formats. Earn up to 15 credits* and get ahead in your studies. Current QC students can register via CUNYfirst beginning on March 16, 2026. Students visiting from colleges outside of CUNY must fill out a Visiting Student (Non-Degree) Application. CUNY students can file an ePermit through their home school’s registrar to take courses at QC. Parking on campus is free for summer session students with a valid parking decal. 

Classes will be available to view in CUNYfirst on March 3, 2026. 

Three sessions to choose from:

Session 1 (4 weeks) June 1-June 24 Up to 6 credits Last day to register: June 1 VS App Deadline: May 27
Session 2 (4 weeks) July 6-July 29 Up to 6 credits Last day to register: July 6 VS App Deadline: July 1
Session 3 (7 weeks) June 29-August 17 Up to 9 credits Last day to register: June 30 VS App Deadline: June 24

*15 credits is the maximum that may be taken by any student, in any combination of summer sessions per academic year.

  • If you are an incoming Queens College freshman, discuss getting a head start on your studies by taking summer classes with your advisor during your new student advisement session or begin the process by completing the Freshman Summer Session Intake Form once it’s available this spring..

I am an Accepted Freshman but Have Not Committed to Queens College

  • If you are going to another CUNY college, you may file an ePermit.
  • If you are attending a college outside of CUNY, you may submit a Visiting Student/Non-degree form.

    If you are entering a college other than Queens College as a freshman, you may check with your home school to see how Queens College credits will be transferred.

Application Fees
A nonrefundable application fee ($65 for undergraduate or $125 for graduate) will be added to your tuition when you register. 

CUNY students who file an ePermit do not have to pay a fee.

Financial Aid
You may be able to use Summer Pell or your current financial aid award toward Summer Session classes.

 

Visiting and CUNY students: financial aid is awarded through your home college. Please contact your home college’s Financial Aid Office after your application has been accepted.
